Peter Campbell
Peter has more than 30 years’ experience as a physiotherapist since graduating from Cumberland College (University of Sydney) in 1986. Following public hospital employment in Sydney, Grafton and Maclean, Peter commenced private practice in his home town of Yamba in 1990.
As a rural practitioner of long standing Peter has experience in the diagnosis, management & prevention of a broad spectrum of conditions requiring physiotherapy intervention.
Peter has been a participant and volunteer in many Lower Clarence sporting & community organisations over the years and is a life member of the Yamba Rugby Club. His involvement with rugby includes being physiotherapist for the senior NSW Country Rugby Union team from 1997 to 2001 and with the under 20s from 2003 to 2010.
Peter has been actively involved in his children’s sporting pursuits, including; swimming, surf live saving, soccer, skateboarding, surfing, tennis, AFL, netball and basketball, and has experience in the treatment of injuries from all of these sports. Not one to be left on the sidelines Peter now spends his weekends refereeing Rugby Union, being a water safety officer for nippers and playing golf.
Peter is a strong believer in hands on physiotherapy. His treatments follow a thorough assessment and diagnosis of the individual client. He also provides specific exercises tailored to an individual’s unique lifestyle and needs.
